Oddný is a fourth year Ph.D. candidate in International Relations and Comparative Politics. She is primarily interested in international political economy, financial and economic policy, financial crises and economic ideas. Oddný is from Iceland and first came to Brown on a Fulbright scholarship to complete a Master’s in Public Policy. She has a B.F.A. from the Icelandic Academy for the Arts and worked as a print and broadcast journalist and independent writer and filmmaker in Iceland before coming to the United States.
