China: Challenges for the Next Administration

at World Economic Roundtable

A conversation with Isaac Stone Fish, Senior Fellow at the Asia Society’s Center for U.S. – China Relations and Asia Editor at Foreign Policy Magazine.

The Chinese economy suffers from worryingly high levels of debt, and an uncertain political and geo-economic landscape, domestically and regionally. Just returning from an extended research trip and with many years of experience living and working in China, Isaac will offer his analysis of the evolving political and economic situation and the geo-economic strategy China is pursuing. He will also give us his thoughts on how the Chinese leadership sees the next U.S. administration and how it will most likely respond to the policies a Clinton or Trump presidency will adopt.
