Mathis Richtmann is managing director of the German macro-finance think tank Dezernat Zukunft where he works on monetary policy and thinks about democratization of central banking. His work has been published in the Financial Times and Wirtschaftswoche. He holds a Masters in International Political Economy from London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree in Economics and Iran Studies from Göttingen University in Germany. As a student he was widely active in promoting pluralism in economics teaching and has taught various formats of seminars, lectures, and workshops in universities and school settings.
