Jakob Sparn

Graduated in Economics and Political Science from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Germany. Currently enrolled as PhD candidate at the Center for Regional Development and Planning (CEDEPLAR) at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil.

Interested in ecological economics and development theory and practice, particularly in the transition towards a post-growth society. Recently focusing his research on the post-development and degrowth approaches from an urban and regional perspective.
