David Claydon

David Claydon is Co-Founder of Macro Advisory Partners LLP. David spent fifteen years building macro investing, advisory, and research businesses at J.P. Morgan and Morgan Stanley and now leads his firm’s analysis at the intersection of politics, markets, and economics. David has two decades of experience conducting this work in public and private sector roles, starting his career as a Legislative Assistant for Richard A. Gephardt, then the Majority Leader in the U.S. House of Representatives. He moved to Wall Street in 1993. From 2008 to 2010 David worked for the U.K. Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, the Rt Hon. David Miliband, as Specialist Economic Advisor. David holds a first class degree in Government from the University of Essex, is a fellow of the RSA, and a Trustee of Great Ormond Street Hospital’s Children’s Charity.
