Roberto Iacono is an associate professor in economics and social policy at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway. Iacono holds a PhD in economics from the department of economics at NTNU, completed in 2015 with a thesis on the macroeconomics of natural resources. Since then, Iacono’s research has focused on the economics of the welfare state, primarily looking at lessons from the Nordic economies.
