Christina Kujur

Ms. Christina Kujur is an Organiser with INET-YSI and works as a Faculty member at the Institute for Human Development (IHD India), Eastern Regional Centre.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi, and a Master’s degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Development Studies at the Institute for Social and Economic Change (ISEC), Bengaluru, under the Centre for Political Institutions, Governance and Development.

Her academic work focuses on the intersections of gender, governance, and social structures, with particular attention to the lived experiences and perspectives of tribal and marginalized women in India. Through her work, she aims to contribute to the understanding of how institutional frameworks and political processes shape opportunities for empowerment and inclusion, especially for tribal women.

Her broader research interests include women’s studies, tribal studies, governance, political sociology, and social inclusion, reflecting a holistic approach to examining issues of equity and development in contemporary India.
