Bikram Barman is a Consultant for LEPC VII, and a Coordinator and Organizer with the Young Scholars Initiative of INET
He is a doctoral researcher jointly affiliated with the Department of Human Geography and Planning at Utrecht University, the Netherlands and the Institute for Social and Economic Change in Bengaluru, India. He holds a master’s degree in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences, and a bachelor’s degree in social sciences from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. His research interests span population studies, social policy, and development economics, with a focus on ageing, health, inequalities, poverty, and the political economy of welfare.
