Thomas Fazi

Thomas Fazi is a journalist, writer, documentary filmmaker, activist and Anglo-Italian translator (of authors such as Christopher Hitchens, George Soros and Robert Reich). He lives in Rome, Italy. He is the co-director of Standing Army (2010), an award-winning feature-length documentary on US military bases featuring Gore Vidal and Noam Chomsky; and the author of The Battle for Europe: How an Elite Hijacked a Continent – and How We Can Take It Back (Pluto Press, 2014). He is a regular contributor to Social Europe Journal, il manifesto, openDemocracy, Krytyka Polityczna, Green European Journal and other printed and online journals; and is the editor of Oneuro, the weekly magazine of the European affairs website eunews.it. He collaborates with the Italian civil society network Sbilanciamoci! and is the coordinator of the European Progressive Economists Network (Euro-pen). His website is www.battleforeurope.net.
