Simone Landini holds a Ph.D. in mathematics for the analysis of financial markets from the Università degli Studi di Milano Bicocca. He currently is researcher in political economics at the Socioeconomic Research Institute of Piedmont as well as a visiting Fellow at the Faculty of Business at the University of Technology of Sydney. He is a member of the Italian Society for Chaos and Complexity, the Unione Matematica Italiana, the European Mathematica Society, the Società Italiana di Matematica Applicata e Industria. He has published both in economics and physics journals and co-authored the book Interactive Macroeconomics. Microfoundation Framework via a Stochastically Dynamic Aggregation of Heterogeneous Agents, in which he developed pioneer approaches to the aggregation of agent-based models.
