Nick Alpha is the Community Engineer at the Institute for New Economic Thinking.
As the longest serving staff member at the Institute, Alpha has held a variety of roles as the organization grew: from developing its in-house video, creative, and digital efforts, to program and event management.
Previously, Alpha designed and executed experiential and guerrilla marketing for Hansen’s Natural, and served as Information Manager and Research Assistant at the University of Vermont’s Center on Disability and Community Inclusion.
Beyond his role at the Institute, Alpha devotes his time to appreciating and advocating for our precious and irreplaceable wildlands.
Alpha holds degrees in Psychology and Economics from the University of Vermont, as well as Digital Marketing and Strategy from New York University.
