Kiel, Germany | Institute for The World Economy

The Global Economic Symposium (GES) is an annual conference organized by the Kiel Institute for the World Economy that seeks to create solutions to address the most pressing global problems. YSI has a long-standing relationship with GES and gives young scholars the chance to participate as YSI delegates.

The GES is a major convening of stakeholders in the global economy and provides an excellent opportunity for young scholars to meet and get involved. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to bring up to 20 young scholars to the conference to represent the YSI community. If you wish to be one of them please apply using the link above. The selected scholars will be given full access to all GES sessions. Young scholars are responsible for their own travel, however YSI will provide accommodation. Conference lunch is not available to YSI delegates, but there are plenty of dining options available near the conference venue.

To secure your place, register as soon as possible.
