Robert Cord completed his PhD at Cambridge University. His thesis provided a new explanation of the Keynesian Revolution, emphasising the research school aspects of Keynes’s work and activities from the 1920s to the 1940s; a monograph version was published by Routledge in late 2012. Cord’s biography of Keynes appeared in 2007. Cord is now engaged in further research in the history of economic thought and is currently in the process of compiling an edited volume on the work of Milton Friedman.
