Jenny Tue Anh Nguyen

Ms. Tue Anh obtains her PhD and MA at University of Greenwich with full scholarships and Best Student Award. Her master thesis was awarded Best Postgraduate Dissertation in 2012. She has received awards and scholarships for research in Energy Policy from International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE), University of Oxford (2014), OPEC Award for Students from Developing Countries(2016).

Her PhD research compiles a database of investment portfolios of private companies, investigating the investment environment in electricity sector and impact of market liberalisation policies in developing countries. Her methodologies combines Social Network Analysis and Relational Information Systems for Database construction. 

Since 2011, she has published a series of reports for the European Commission on energy outlooks in Europe, Latin America and South East Asia. Her researches have received multiple international awards including Best Paper by European Union’s Jean Monet Network (2016), 3 consecutive Best Research Poster awards. She has been invited speaker at Tuft University, Erasmus+ Programme in Lille, France, University of Dundee, Scotland and National University Singapore (NUS). 

Her research interests include: energy policy, public services, market liberalisation model, World Bank loans, structural reforms, economic growth.
